Ashton has always been my biggest helper. He is so quick to get up and get me something and do his chores. This day was a result of not enough sleep. I asked him to fold some laundry and you would have thought the world was at an end!

the bright side

I have been really bummed lately. Marin has been in gymnastics for a long time and she is so close to being ready to compete. I know she would do really well if she just had a little more competitiveness. She has told me that the beam really scares her, and she doesn't want to do gymnastics anymore because they have started to do bigger things on the beam now. But today when I was doing a little craft at the kitchen table, she asked to use my paints. She is a really great artist. She thinks of things in such a different way. She asked me about roots and then came up with this painting. I am a terrible artist. Actually Marin always asks to re do anything I have drawn because she can't stand how I do it. I love her painting!!!

motherhood is bliss

So Ashton throw up, it's so nasty I have to throw his sheets out. Then Greyson gives the puppy a saltine cracker that was sitting out from Ashton's snack. Blech, all over in his kennel. Number 2 throw up mess. Then Greyson says he doesn't feel that great. Well, that's nothing I haven't heard before. Then he throws up on the carpet. SICK!!!!! Mesa wakes up the last few nights practically drowning in her own mucus. Poor girl, I worry one day she will get it in her lungs. She sneezes in my face, eyes and mouth. Yep, now I'm sick. I did get to lay in bed one day this week :)

Marin got a fun hop and Heeleys. Mesa got a doll. Greyson got bugs. Ashton got a sled. Dad will smell like a man's man. And mom got homemade crafts, ornaments and winter boots. Christmas morning comes and goes so fast! And Asthon looks like Flick in The Christmas Story.

Greyson got up from his nap, saw me resting on the couch and decided to take nap #2. He fell asleep perfectly placed next to the pillows.

The Cruz

Greyson turned 4 on October 30th, he wanted to be a ninja for Halloween. Mostly because ninja's get to use knives and sharp weapons. I took out a box cutter the other day and he looked at it like it was a pot of gold. He asked to hold it or touch it and he was denied. He asks on average about 50 questions a day. Thankfully, he still takes a nap most days. He loves to be outside and takes his little magnifying glass out each day to look for bugs. He can run like the wind, especially when he is running from Ashton after punching him. Things would be boring around home without him!!
