These little indian are dangerous

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends and family, from our little pilgrims and indians.

Deer trouble

Our neighbors have been raising a baby deer and Marin was extremely concerned the other day when she found it roaming around. Marin picked some berries from a tree and tried to get it to follow her back to the owners home. We managed to get it close to its home only to have it follow us back to our house again. I had to convince Marin it would be all right. He/she finally wandered off into the mountain. Marin loves any chance she gets to be motherly.

one game and that's it

We went bowling to Jack and Jill's for family night. Marin and Ashton were excited and I was hoping Mesa wouldn't hate it too bad. There just so happened to be a birthday party that night and we were next to 20 screaming kids. Greyson was fascinated with the whole idea of throwing a ball as hard as you can to hit something and not getting scolded for it. Aaron and I played musical chairs passing off Greyson and singing primary songs to Mesa. I don't think she has slept very well this week. But she was a trooper and dealt with it. And somehow (with the bumpers up) Marin managed to beat all of us. I was going to take a picture of the scoreboard and forgot. She was quite pleased with herself.

The boy who never plays with his toys

Greyson has some strange aversion to playing with his toys. If it looks, smells, feels and resembles a toy he wants nothing to do with it. Especially if I drag all of them out and I seem desperate for him to play with something besides eating crumbs off the floor from Marin and Ashton. So one day I got a little annoyed and just put him in the toy box. Unfortunately it only lasted for a few minutes because he just climbed right back out. But I took a few pics in the meantime. Maybe it looks mean to put your kid in the tub of toys, but he was just fine with the whole thing.

Forgot a few

Just a few more halloween pics, and I do know how to spell Halloween.

Haloween Festivities

Every year we break out the four wheeler and go around the neighborhood. This year it just rained and rained so I was glad to have a bit faster transportation from house to house. There is one street in our neighborhood that everyone stays home and the whole ward just goes up and down the street. If you venture off the street, you can usually get a whole candy bar from the houses that don't get many trick or treaters. My brother Taylor, his wife Marci and their four kids came with us too. My nephew Preston is the fastest trickortreater I have ever seen! He was always a few houses ahead of us. We went to Aarons office in Draper and I found him in a Randy Garn t shirt with a mullet. And yes it is really a picture of Randy when he was young with a very long thick and blonde mullet. Aaron says he never had one of those but I will have to verify that. Well, good thing we are going to the dentist in a month.

The little stinker's birthday october 30, 2008

Greyson is the big one year old! We just had a little family party since my brother Taylor and his family were in town from Virginia. And let's face it, the kid is one year old and really has no friends yet. He is so cute with his big brown eyes, amazing skin and full head of hair that constantly needs to be trimmed. He is a tad bit small for his age but don't let that fool you. He has really been a good baby. Today he was walking back and forth from couch to couch sometimes he would make it and others times he would trip, fall and hit his head on the same spot every time. He now has a permanent dent in his head from all the trauma. It is amazing how many times a baby can hit their head and keep on trucking! Last year at this time we were in California picking him up from the scary hospital. They didn't even give him a hepatitis B shot, routine in any hospital. And a few other bizarre things I won't mention. We wrapped him up and got the heck out of there. Anyway, Happy Birthday to our sweet little boy.
