Our neighbors have been raising a baby deer and Marin was extremely concerned the other day when she found it roaming around. Marin picked some berries from a tree and tried to get it to follow her back to the owners home. We managed to get it close to its home only to have it follow us back to our house again. I had to convince Marin it would be all right. He/she finally wandered off into the mountain. Marin loves any chance she gets to be motherly.
