The other night I was reading to Marin in her bed and looked over to see a bag packed with some clothes and things hanging from her closet handle.Me: You going somewhere sweetie?Marin: I just wanted to have somethings ready in case something bad happens.Me: Like what?Marin: A fireMe: Don't worry, if there was a fire I would wake up and help you.Marin: (and the tears began to flow) But I'm scared because daddy isn't here. (Aaron was out of town at the time).Me: Don't cry Marin. Your dad sleeps like the dead and most likely I will be the one who knows something is wrong.Marin: Ok, I just really miss daddy.Marin is so sweet and tenderhearted. I find myself saying quite often to her "what would I do without you?" She reads her scriptures at night in bed, sings her heart out in primary, is so kind to her friends at school. She is a great example to me. And the bag had all the essentials in it: horse blanket, horse book, a dress and so on.
