The End of it all

I am a little glad that all the activities are over for a while. Marin gymnastics, soccer, and piano and Ashton's t ball. I am so dang competitive that I hate when Marin's little soccer team doesn't win even though they don't keep score and when Ashton complains that he is melting on the pitchers mound in the hot sun. I honestly believe that you can't teach your kids to be go-getters and competitive. Either they are or they aren't. I love to dream about what a great athlete Mesa would be. She would probably knock our socks off. She has loved riding her horse once a week. It has helped so much with her head and trunk control. And we did a little fishing at Rainbow Lake over Memorial weekend. As you can see Greyson was having a blast!!

Happy Mother's Day Sweetheart

I know this is a little early, but Marin, Ashton, Mesa, Greyson, and I wanted to congratulate mom on her award for mother of the year. Click on the link below. If that doesn't work, then copy and paste it. It is worth seeing. :)

We are Moving!

Well I will give you three guesses as to where we are going.
1. Texas
2. Arizona
3. Idaho

Not Texas because that is where my sister Josue is going because they want to work for a big accounting firm.
Not Arizona because my brother Spencer and his wife moved there after selling their house in four days!
Ok, so it's Idaho. The other two do sound a bit more appealing but the family is in Idaho (well most of them) and so is work. I am excited to go and so are the kids because it means getting a dog and a horse eventually. I will miss my beautiful view out my living room window, great places to eat everywhere, of course awesome shopping, our ward (some of the most amazing people I have ever met), my friends I have had since Marin was born in our BYU student ward, Primary Childrens where Mesa gets great treatment and the list goes on and on. But this is life and it will work out just fine! Oh, and we are going to end up in Rexburg or surrounding area.

We are home

Ashton got to come home yesterday afternoon from the hospital. But he still needs a lot of meds and watching. Dr. Connor suggested we put a PICC line in his arm. It goes in the forearm and threads all the way to the heart. He needs IV antibiotics for the next six days. I guess the hospital life flighted a baby yesterday for pneumonia. They are saying there are many cases this year for some reason. And the snow is not helping my mood!!!

Back at the Hospital

So just kiddin, Ashton is not better. Sunday night he still had a fever of 102 after a whole week of not feeling good. I was feeling desperate and wanted something done to get him better. Well, I got just that. He has pneumonia and we spent the night in the hospital. Poor little guy. The only thing he likes is the endless assortment of movies and the cool bag of goodies that the ER gave him. He is such a little trooper. Not even a peep when they put in the IV.
My heart was breaking today because he just kept saying " I want to go home." That sounds so familiar. His lungs sound like rice krispies and he has lost about 3 pounds. It's just so weird because he is never sick. Hopefully this doesn't sound bad, but I am just glad it's him and not Mesa or Greyson in the hospital.

Good times

1. Thursday taking a baby gift over to a friends house, I slipped on some ice and fell down a
whole flight of stairs and twisted my ankle.

2. Get picked up by a cop, not for speeding, but because my registration is expired by a month.
And I have to say it does work to cry really hard so that you won't get a ticket.

3. Mesa gets RSV and doesn't sleep for about four days. Poor little sweetheart!

4. Get sick and up all night after eating way too much of my sister's really good popcorn.

5. And to top it all off, Ashton has a fever of 104 in the night and now I find out he has strep
throat ( he got a shot and will be fine soon)

Just waiting for the next child to get sick.......... ( I am being realistic, not pessimistic)
Good thing the sun comes up and I get to start over again tomorrow.
