Marin-day 2

A week of Marin

Thursday is Marin's birthday and I found lots of cute pictures from when she was a chubby little baby. So I wanted to post new pictures each day so I can squeeze them all in.

Proud Moments

Ashton was coloring a picture for Mesa today and said
"we should take care of Mesa because her brain is hurt and she needs our help"

Me: That's so nice pal, Mesa will always need our help and I will need you and Marin to help take care of her when I am old.

Marin: Mom, I will do it. She can live with me in St. George (apparently she is planning to live there)

Ashton: No, mom I will take care of her, she is my twin.

Me: Moments like this make me so happy!

I love my kids!!!!!!!!!!

10 Whole Years

Today is our 10 year anniversary! I love my handsome husband and all the fun and laughter he brings to our family. Aaron and I are opposites in a lot of things but we have a lot in common too. I hold his hand when the Dallas Cowboys loose and he gives me a big hug after having a bad day. He is usually positive and I say I am just being realistic. He blames me for hiding his socks when really I have better things to do with my time. He smothers our kids with hugs and kisses and I smother them with having good manners and washing their hands. He snores away and I lie awake thinking about how much I have to do the next day. He rejoices in the fact that Mesa is perfect and is guaranteed a place in heaven while I have cried my share of tears for her broken little body. Thank you sweetie for being my opposite and my soul mate!

So EXCITED for school!! (mom, most of all)

Marin and Ashton were so excited for school on Monday. Sunday night Marin asked me to put her hair in the pink curlers so she could have a curly side ponytail for the first day of school. She even made her grandpa come downstairs to her room so he could see what she was going to wear for the big day. All Ashton said was "I have to stay there all day?" "Absolutely," I said with a grin on my face!!!! Otherwise I would go nuts with three kids all going to school at different times. Mesa gets to go to BYU Idaho campus for her preschool and hang out with the college kids. Sounds good, right? Anyway, Ashton came home and said this boy at school kept calling him "dude" all day long and Marin found a best little friend whose name is Mairyn. She knew that they would be friends forever having the same first name and all. I told her they needed to make up nicknames for each other.

Pucker Up!

We got a couple cute pictures of Mesa this weekend and Marin bought some wax lips at the famous candy store in Jackson Hole, she thought they would compliment Mesa's pretty blue eyes!

Bodily Functions

So..I am not sure if this is appropriate for a blog post but oh well! Yesterday was a day where you say "What is going on around here?"

Greyson
4 poopy diapers by bedtime (gross)

Mesa
I gave her too much miralax and she had quite the diaper rash (poor baby).

Ashton
Thought he just tooted but discovered more than just a toot came out!

Marin
Came running in the house yelling about having to pee really bad and then remembered she had a belt on her shorts and didn't have time to get them off before I hear "Oh, crap!"

My house did not smell good yesterday.
