Pucker Up!

We got a couple cute pictures of Mesa this weekend and Marin bought some wax lips at the famous candy store in Jackson Hole, she thought they would compliment Mesa's pretty blue eyes!

Bodily Functions

So..I am not sure if this is appropriate for a blog post but oh well! Yesterday was a day where you say "What is going on around here?"

Greyson
4 poopy diapers by bedtime (gross)

I gave her too much miralax and she had quite the diaper rash (poor baby).

Ashton
Thought he just tooted but discovered more than just a toot came out!

Marin
Came running in the house yelling about having to pee really bad and then remembered she had a belt on her shorts and didn't have time to get them off before I hear "Oh, crap!"

My house did not smell good yesterday.

It has been so great this summer to have a lake to jump in anytime we need to cool off. Loaded with fish, warm enough to swim in and big enough to get a little crazy in. The kids love it and beg to go everyday. Marin is a little daredevil, she will go on anything and is not afraid to get thrown off. Ashton just likes to ride on the jet ski and Greyson is satisfied just to look at the water. I am just waiting for him to leap in for kicks!

MISS GIGGLE PANTS

Home sick

We are here in Rexburg and I am finding that I am quite more homesick than I thought I would be. Even though I am from Pocatello, went to college at Ricks, and have all my family here; I miss my home and friends very much. There is definitely a different pace in Rexburg, no one drives fast and I haven't seen a policeman on the road yet. Stores and places open late and close early. But there is a clean flicks which I love! My family has been great, I think I was unpacked in record time and have been invited to lots of dinners. My dad even hauled over the weed wacker and went crazy on the amazon forest attacking the house.
Greyson has already required a trip to the Community Care and the dentist. He tripped and smashed his face into the firplace mantle. He is probably going to lose his front baby tooth after only having it a year. I am not used to such a wild toddler.
It is very nice to have a second bedroom on the main floor so don't have to climb a mountain to get Mesa to bed. I am excited to share a cricut machine with my sisters and to learn to bake bread like a pro. I can see the temple from our front window and it almost looks fake because it is bright and luminous on the hill. We took some pictures before we moved, it is so green and beautiful in Alpine.

Marin's last plea

I love my little Marin. She will suddenly feel really strongly about doing something and it has to be done right then. She was into writing this love note to Max and she would not let me look at it. So when she got distracted for a moment I snapped a little picture. It is hard to read so I will translate....

Der Max, I am mooving to IDHO in tou wees From: Marin To: Max I love you (heart) and I am mereing you wen I am a gercnup (grownup).

Who Knew?

So who knew that in our neighborhood during the summer that having a lemonade stand or selling anything else would be so profitable. My kids have asked me if they can sell ....

Rocks
Water color paintings
or if I would like to make something for them to sell

The kids up the street looked like they were making a killing because of the location of their house, and the kids down the street were selling cinnamon rolls and lemon bars. I told my kids we should wait until we move and then they could meet new friends with their lemonade stand. Good way to put it off for a while.
