Annual snowmobilin' trip

Every year Aaron and I drop the kids at granny's and go to Idaho for some snowmobiling. Most years we have been to Island Park where it looks like Antartica in the winter. The last two years we have been going to Victor, Idaho. It is just 3o minutes away from Jackson Hole. It is nice and quiet there and Jackson has the best food! We always go with friends. This year we went with Gunns, Whalens, and Rameys. I love going on trips where you laugh so hard your gut hurts all day. We played rock band, ate, slept in (my favorite), argued while playing games, and snowmobiled. Although leave it to me to somehow not get any pictures of that. P.S. If you are dissatisfied with my lack of pictures, you can visit Lisa's blog because she has plenty! P.S.S. The picture of the buffalo and the hand in the air is Aaron as he was running and totally ate it. Guess there was a little bit of ice on the ground.

my exciting find

I love finding new things to decorate Mesa's room. I always want to make it a fun and happy place for her. She still takes a nap every day and I want her to love being in her room. I just got her new pottery barn bedding off ebay and I searched for some wall decor to match the bedding. You can find anything on ebay. With all the vinyl lettering becoming popular I was looking for a tree and bird that I could stick on her wall by her bed. I found the perfect thing. And I found a bird cage at Target too.

trying and trying to gain weight

Greyson has slowly been sliding down the weight scale. I have been trying hard to get some rolls on him. It probably doesn't help that he runs every where he goes. So I have been sneaking some pediasure in his bottle and I found out that chocolate pediasure is a bad decision with his long history of constant diarrhea. It burned his poor little bum and he was not happy. I took a few pictures after changing his diaper because there are a lot of people who think he never cries or is unhappy. Here is proof!

A gray kindof girl

I get up in the morning and grab clothes for my kids out of their rooms, sometimes before they are even awake. I find that whatever I am wearing that day I usually get the same color of clothes for my kids too. Marin asked me a few days ago if my favorite color was gray because I am always wearing it. So Sunday as we are getting ready for church I realize that Marin, Ashton and I are all wearing gray and black. I am pretty sure I don't own anything that is orange, pink, purple, or any shade of green. Kind of a boring closet!

Greyson SMASH!!

One of the more popular christmas gifts was the large, very green hulk hands. They scream and yell at you and make crashing noises. Greyson thinks they are great and one night we were all watching tv and he comes out of the toy room with both hulk hands on. We started laughing and yelling, "Greyson, smash". He thought he was pretty cool.

Marital Plans

I love how my six year old daughter is worried about the whole marriage plan. She has been planning to marry her childhood sweetheart, Max Ramey. Every week a new concern arises as to what the ordeal will be like, how and when it will happen and what if someone changes their mind about it. This was our latest conversation.
Marin: So mom, will Max and I live here with you when we get married?
Me: Well, I really hope that Max will have a job and you can afford your own place.
Marin: I think we could just live in Idaho with my horse in the stables.
Me: I don't think a stable with horse manure would be very nice to live in, and I don't think Max would like it too much.
Marin: OH!

I know Max has said a few things like taking Marin to the temple on a four wheeler and having blue flowers at the wedding. Lisa, you will have to correct me if I am wrong on that.
I love my kids!!!!

Pregnancy tests are not popsicles

I have no pictures because my computer wants to die! I do, however have a funny story. I have saved the two pregnancy tests that I took when I got pregnant with Mesa and Ashton. Weird, I know but I am pretty sure those are the only positive pregnancy tests I will ever see again. I keep them in a sack in the bottom drawer in my bathroom. Somehow, someway Greyson happened to sneak in the bathroom, open the drawer and pull out the two things that are most precious to me. He comes walking out of my bedroom with a pregnancy test in each hand like they are popsicles. My first reaction was to scream and run at him to pry them out of his little hands. So he turns the other way and bolts like he can outrun me or something. As his little legs are turning over as fast as they can he decides to put one in his mouth. YUCK! Even though I am pretty sure the pee is dry as can be it is still gross. The pregnancy tests are now tucked safely in my unmentionables drawer in the closet.
